MEDITATION

Meditation is essential for creating better health. We all face stress and uncomfortable situations in our lives. Often we carry this stress and negativity with us. Even if we are generally happy people, at times we can get caught up in these emotions.
Meditation is a way out of the emotion and confusion that stress brings on. It is a way to take back our control and to return to feelings of peace and calm and happiness.

Meditation is a mind-body medicine and is a means to transforming the mind. Meditation techniques help us to develop concentration, clarity, and positive emotions. There are many different types of meditation techniques. They all assist in learning the patterns and habits of the mind as well as offer a means to cultivate new positive ways of being. With discipline and patience while learning such calm and focused states of mind, one can deepen into profound states of mind leading to a new understanding of life.

Research has shown that Meditation can contribute to an individual's psychological and physiological well-being. This is accomplished as Meditation brings the brainwave pattern into an alpha state, which is a level of consciousness that promotes the healing state. There is scientific evidence that Meditation can reduce blood pressure and relieve pain and stress. It also helps to:
Decreased anxiety. Decreased depression. Decreased irritability and moodiness. Improved learning ability and memory. Increased self-actualization. Increased feelings of vitality and rejuvenation. Increased happiness. Increased emotional stability
